Tutoring for Subjects or Study/Organization

For subject tutoring or academic support, all students work one-on-one with a highly qualified instructor.  Our instructors are masters in their disciplines and more importantly, they care about the learning process.

Our instructors work with each student on their individual goals.  This is guided by a unique individualized education plan which is created for every Buckley student.   This is how student’s succeed….understand what they need and develop a plan.

Academic Subjects

We offer the following subject tutoring:

• Science: Physics, Biology, Chemistry of all levels.
• Math: Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, PreCalculus, Calculus, Statistics and Probability and all levels of mathematics (beginning at the middle school level)
• Humanities Subjects: Critical Reading and Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Writing, History, Geography, Government and Politics.
• Languages: Spanish and French

Organizational and Study Skills

Organizational and Study Skills Support is offered to students on a one-on-one basis.

Each session begins with a backpack assessment, a planner check, and a binder check to ensure the student is staying organized and applying their newly found skills.
