How Do I Begin to Make a Unique College List?

This process begins with a deep understanding of the academic achievement qualities of each client. However, it goes beyond to include:

  • Involvement in school and community
  • Sustained activities
  • Leadership
  • Extenuating circumstances

Once these factors are understood, an initial list of schools is created. Here is a great resource for regional college admission events.

Significant Components of the College Application Process

All factors presented to the admissions committee are considered.  The factors considered range from:

  • Depth and breadth of curriculum from 9-12th grade
  • Relevant activities outside the classroom
  • Letters of recommendation
  • Personal Statement(s)

  • A range of other supplemental data as requested
