What Sets Buckley Educational Group Apart
There are two major national associations for private educational consultants and counselors: the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) – Both require members to demonstrate a high level of experience. In addition, the professional association of the American Institute of Certified Educational Planners (AICEP) requires a Master’s degree for membership in addition to five years of experience and the passing of a written exam. Re-certification is required every five years to maintain certification.
Jean Marie Buckley is one of a few select professionals in the world who holds the designation of Certified Educational Planner.
In addition to requiring its members to sign a very strict ethical code IECA requires:
- Appropriate education and training
- Multiple years of proven experience
- Annual visits to educational campuses
- Review of promotional materials and reference checks
The Buckley Team holds membership in the following organizations:
- State of California Credentialing Board
- Secondary School Admission Test Board
- American School Counselor Association
- Better Business Bureau
- Burlingame Chamber of Commerce
