just finished a two day visit hosted by Gettysburg College.  The visit enlightened me to the passionate, articulate and engaged student body of Gettysburg.  Not to mention, the historical site of the college, adjacent to the famous battle in the Civil War.

Throughout the two day journey, I met with students, faculty members, constituents from various departments, the Provost and President of the college.  I was impressed with the eloquence with which the college spoke of their focus on a liberal arts education and their cross departmental multifaceted education.  Students are clearly engaged in the schools academic focus and are committed to the service Gettysburg is known for.
