Test Preparation: SAT, ACT, AP, SSAT and others
We at Buckley Education utilize the knowledge of qualified and experienced teachers, counselors and educational consultants to help students prepare for a variety of academic tests:
Process for College Application Exams
We develop individual plans that help students ensure that the test score component of the college application process accurately represents their skills and places them in the best possible advantage in the school selection process.
Our Process:
- Diagnostic Test
We determine each student’s baseline proficiency through an evaluative measure. This assessment tool – or diagnostic test – guides our understanding of each student. Each component of the test helps us develop a preparation plan that is both focused and effective. - Design a Preparation Plan
We develop a specific plan that incorporates a student’s baseline level and determines a student’s goals. We encourage individual accountability for success with the test preparation process and make sure that the plan is aligned with the needs of each student. - Test Preparation
Our tutors work with students one-on-one to ensure that comprehension and confidence is sound with the strategies and content of the test. Weekly instruction and independent practice is an integral facet of our guidance so that students are more likely to achieve their goal scores. - Practice Test
Practice tests and completed homework assignments allow us to determine the growth and curriculum structure for each student. As a student progresses through the test preparation framework, we modify as is needed.
